MY STOCKING CAP TREE ORNAMENT
MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: About 13 yards
Crochet hook size G (4.5 mm)
Pom-pom
Glue
6 inches gold/silver cord
Glue

Yarn needle
SIZE: 3 inches before turning up cuff
HAT:
Row 1(wrong side): Loosely ch 12, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each remaining ch across, ch 1, turn. (11 sc)
Rows 2-14: Working in back loops only, sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. (11 sc)
Fold wrong sides together and slipstitch front loop of row 14 and foundation chain together, fasten off leaving a 5 inch length of yarn.

Tuck beginning tail inside. With yarn needle weave remaining length of yarn through ends of rows at top of hat, pull tightly to close opening, thread tail to inside and knot together with beginning tail and cut off about ½ inch long.
Turn up cuff.
Turn up cuff.
Glue pom-pom to top of hat. Add a gold/silver thread to hang on tree.
