BINKY-PACIFIER TETHER

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight (4) cotton yarn, slightly less than 11 yards
US Size F (4.0 mm) crochet hook
1 One inch suspender clip
Tapestry needle

NOTES:
1.    Read instructions through before beginning.
2.    I used Lily Sugar and Cream and Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton leftover from other projects.
3.    I ordered the clips from Everything Ribbons on Etsy.
4.    Fsc is foundation single crochet.  Here’s a link to how to make fsc:

INSTRUCTIONS:
Row 1: Attach yarn to bar of clip with a sc, 4 sc around bar.  If you work over the tail you will have one less end to weave in.  (5 sts)

Rows 2 - 10: Ch 1, turn.  Sc across.  (5 sts)

Row 11: Ch 1, turn.  Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts.  (4 sts).

Row 12: Ch 1, turn.  Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts.  (3 sts).

Row 13 - 32: Ch 1, turn.  Sc across.  (3 sts).

Row 33: Ch 1, turn.  Sc2tog, sc in next st.  (Should be about 8 inches long)  (2 sts).

DO NOT fasten off.

LOOP: (photo shows where to make first fsc)

Ch 1, turn.  Sc in 1 st.  Starting by working in side of sc, work 15 fsc.  (Loop should be about 4 inches long.)

Fasten off leaving about a 5 inch tail.  Use the tapestry needle to securely sew end of loop to row 33.

Weave in ends.

TO USE:  Slip loop through ring on binky, then slip clip end through the loop and pull snug.  Fasten clip to baby’s clothing.
