Comments:
I just made this gorgeous little cap for my daughter who will be born in March. I am a beginning crochet-er and didn't count incredibly well, but it went together beautifully and I love the design. Thanks for publishing this pattern!

I have made several hats from your pattern and used different size hooks.. I also added a few stitches of my own just to give the hat a little different look... many thanks for all the great patterns you have shared with CP members... right now i am making scarves for the homeless people in Ohio from your patterns.. Hope you have a super great Holiday session..June--Michigan

How can I make this in a 3-6 month size?

I would chain enough stitches to be about 6 inches long and work enough rows so that the cap would stretch to about 15-16 inches for that size.
