SPIRALING PURLS SLEEP SACK AND CAP

Thank you Virginia in WA for testing this pattern.

This is a stitch combination I’ve used on the cuff of socks and caps when my sons were young.  I’ve always like it because it adds a little interest to a project without getting to fancy.

The instructions for this sleep sack look more complicated than they are.  Once you get going on rounds 7-19 you can see where the spiraling purls are worked and the sleep sack shapes up quickly.
