http://groups.yahoo.com/group/suzies-yarnie-stuff/

My Boucle’ Rolled Brim Hat

Knit in the round using your favorite method for small circumfernce items. I used a 16 inch circular needle and switched to two circulars once the hat was too tight for the 16 inch. You could use one long circular needle or double points as well.

Sizes:
Women 21-23 inch, (Women’s Small 18-21, Youth 16-18, Baby 14-16)

Gauge: With boucle and 10.5 needles 12 sts = 4 inches

Materials:
Lion Brand Boucle 3 ounces for largest size 1.5 ounce for smallest
Size 10 1/2 16 inch circular (see note 2)
Marker
Yarn needle

With size 10.5 needle loosely cast on 60 stitches for Women’s, (WS 54, Y 48, B 42). Place a marker and join, being careful not to twist the stitches.

Knit each round until piece measures 6 1/4 inches (5 ¾, 5 ½, 5)

Decrease for top: Starting with round 1 (3, 4, 5)

Round 1: *K8, K2tog* repeat (54 st)
Round 2: K
Round 3: *K7, K2tog* repeat (48 st)
Round 4: *K6, K2tog* repeat (42 st)
Round 5: *K5, K2tog* repeat (36 st)
Round 6: *K4, k2tog* repeat. (30 st)
Round 7: *K3, K2tog* repeat. (24 st)
Round 8: *K2, K2tog* repeat (18 st)
Round 9: *K1, K2tog* repeat (12 st)
Round 10: *K2tog* repeat (6 st)
Fasten off leaving a 7" end. Run end through all stitches and weave in.

Notes:

1. Additional suitable yarns: Homespun, Homespun Baby, Jiffy, Baby Cloud, Light and Lofty.

2. Knit hat with your preferred method for knitting small diameter items. When stitches get too tight on the 16” circular switch to working with double points, a second circular or one long circular and continue decreases.

Comments:
Hi :o) Just wanted to point out that it says (c) on your side bar, but this is a knit pattern. Just a little typo, but you might want to fix it so the knitters can find this nice hat. :o)
