KID'S GRANNY EARFLAP CAP

This is Jo's Cap.
Thank you Jo NY for testing this pattern.

MATERIALS:

Worsted weight yarn (approximately 2 ounces total)

Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Tapestry needle

SIZES: Baby 16 inch (Child 18 inch)

NOTES:

1. Read through all instructions before beginning.

2. Cut the yarn and fastened off for the color changes.

3. Beginning ch 2 doesn’t count as a stitch, it is there as a filler.

4. Pull the joining slipstitches tight, so that they don’t get counted as a stitch on the following round.

5. Each time you fasten off a color, use your yarn needle to weave the end in and out of the back loop of the stitches. Then you will crochet over it.

Comments:
It's my pleasure. I love your patterns they are so easy to follow and create.

You've done it again! How unique and fun! Thanks!

Hello! How do I make the hat a little bigger? I need to make it for a 19-22 inch circumference. Thank you!

Use the Women's pattern listed on the right hand side bar.

Sorry! Another question. Looks like I will need the hat to be 18 in circumference instead. This pattern says (Baby 16 inches Child 18 inches). I am confused. Why 2 sizes? Thanks!

Because like all things, different people need different sizes.

Suzie, I love this pattern! I'd like to make this for the charity group I volunteer for - is that ok? Whenever I make it, is it ok for me to post a picture and reference a link to your pattern on my blog?

I'm always happy for groups to use my patterns for charity projects.

Posting a photo of your cap with a link to my blog on your blog will be a good thing.
