The charm of this simple garter stitch scarf is how soft it is, knit of the combination of yarns. It is almost like chenille but thrifty to knit, often a concern when knitting for charity. You can knit two scarves out of one skein each of the Bernat Soft Boucle and either Red Heart Super Saver or Caron Simply Soft.
MATERIALS:
2.5 ounces of Bernat Soft Boucle
2.5 ounces Red Heart Super Saver
17 needles

INSTRUCTIONS:
Cast on 12 stitches
Knit every row until desired length. Bind off and weave in ends.

NOTES:
1. Read instructions all the way through before beginning.
2. Fancy Fur has a strand of Fun Fur and another yarn twisted together. If you are going to use Fun Fur use two strands held together. You can hold another yarn with it, sports weight works good for the second yarn.
3. The beginning ch 3 counts as the first dc throughout.
4. Sometimes it is hard to see where to put your hook, when that happens you can use your fingers to feel where the hook goes. Another way to see where the hook goes is hold your work up and let the light shine through it.
5. The easiest method of joining the yarn is to hold ends from each ball together, tie an overhand knot. Then trim the ends about 3/8 inch long.
6. Before weaving in ends pull the slubs off the end you are going to weave in, they pull right off without unraveling the yarn.
