FINALLY
Finally figured out working with photos on this computer.
My "real" computer is kaput. But I have not given up on it. Well, I've sort of given up. Talked to my son about some things to try and I will get around to trying them one of these days. Meanwhile I'm happy to have the laptop.
So here is the June Scarf pattern of the month. It's still June, barely.

MY JUNE SCARF - SLANT STITCH
MY JUNE SCARF - SLANT STITCH
Size: 7.5 X 60 inches
Gauge: unimportant
Materials:
Soft worsted weight yarn 6 ounces (scarf in photo made of Simply Soft)
J (6.0 mm) and I (5.5 mm) crochet hooks
Yarn needle

J (6.0 mm) and I (5.5 mm) crochet hooks

Stitches used:
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc= Double crochet
Yo = yarn over
With J hook, ch 26.
Row 1: Switch to I hook for remainder of scarf. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Ch 2 turn (doesn’t count as dc). (25 sc)
Row 2: Without skipping the first sc, dc in 2 sc. *Skip next sc, dc in next 3 sc, yo, insert hook in skipped sc and draw up a loop even with the hook, yo and draw through two loops on hook twice. Slant st made. Repeat from * across to last 3 sc, dc in last 3 sc. Ch 1, turn. (5 slant sts)
Row 3: Sc in each st across, don’t go into the turning chain. Ch 2, turn. (25 sc)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until scarf is the desired length.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

PHOOEY
My desktop is kaput and I can barely use the laptop..........so dear reader I will post the June "Scarf of the Month" when I figure out how to upload photos to this computer. By then it will probably be time to post the July scarf, oh well too hot for scarves anyway.
The good news is I had a nice Memorial Day trip to the mountains (the Cascades) and a fun time at the Washington State Samboree.
