Oooooo thanks! I just discovered your site recently and made the felted drawstring bag and I love it! Can't wait to try this dishcloth! Thanks again !
Suzie, I love this pattern, I been making the one on this site http://www.geocities.com/cherilynm/EasyCrochetedDishcloth.html
But I think starting out with the biger needle will help and make the sides more even
Love your site

Wonderful dishcloth pattern - love the texture of the seed stitch. I'm making bunches of these for last minute gifts and even some for me! Suzie, you're awesome - really appreciate you sharing with us.
I haven't learned to crochet yet, but your website has inspired me. I'm really looking forward to attempting some of the things listed. Thanks for adding it to the web.
Thanks! This is a great pattern. I like the size and the seed stitch. You're website is wonderful. Rosemary

Love this stitch! A friend recently told me about this site. It works up so quick and easy. If you vary the pattern and instead of sc in the chain sp you sc in the front loop of the ch sp it makes a very pretty design that you can make stripes with. Or with the seed stitch you can use three colors and carry the yarn along the side and it makes a great tweedy looking stitch. a lot easier to make than it sounds.
This looks awesome! I love making dishcloths and face cloths but when you do them for pressies should yu do all the same design in different colours or different patterns and colours. I am new to crocheting and I am going to make all my friends some for Xmas.
Thank you again

thank you for your reply - much appreciated. Yes, I think that looks more effective too. Thank yu once again
A terrific pattern, but when I used mine it stretched in length with the weight of the water I squeeze it out and put it back into shape each time to dry, but it has stretched. Could this be that my tension was too loose, should I use a smaller hook? Thank you
That is just how cotton yarn performs. A tighter gauge would help.
Just be thankful it isn't a garment.
