You are right that would be cute.
I've been thinking about trying it with the self striping sock yarn.
Wonder if Barbie is allergic to wool. LOL

I just love this pattern. I used the gown pattern with a couple of modifications, made it open down the front etc for a robe.
I modified the undies and added a small ponytail holder to the waist to make it fit a little snugger.
I have made two outfits tonight (the longer one w/panties and a matching robe, and am making a pair of short shorts and long pants to match this set and i also did the shorter one with panties.
This pattern is sooo cute - thanks so much for sharing.
I will post how much yarn the larger set (w/robe etc) took. Hopefully tomorrow I can post pics at crochetville.
Thanks again!!
A very happy crocheter!!

Suzie, you don't have to post this comment, but just wanted you to know that I found out recently that the copyright does not extend to the finished products, it only applies to the written pattern. In other words, anything made from the pattern is not covered under the copyright and the designer has no control over what becomes of the finished item.
I saw a post to that effect recently, but that does not make it the truth. There is a lot of false information on the WWW.
Is your source a copyright judge? If not be careful that you aren't spreading false information.

Hi Suzie,
I was wondering if you had ever tried making this pattern to fit bigger dolls (ie Baby Alive)? If so, any advice? I love the ease of use of this pattern and would love to make it in different sizes but not sure how to go about that. You can reach me at proudmama at cableone dot net. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks so much! Robin

I haven't tried it for a larger doll. I'm not familiar with Baby Alive.
May try some more doll clothes in 2010.

suzie, i can follow most of your patterns, Whereas before i could not follow patterns (ADD, bipolar). All the barbie doll patterns are cotton thread, i only see you use yarn, any more patterns for barbie with yarn. My granddaughter tells me all the time to make barbie clothes especially undies, a lot of barbie have no undies. Any chance you would do a pattern for a cabbage patch boy doll? Thanks for all you have done. Because of you people like me, can now make things other than blankets.
Those are the only Barbie patterns I have worked up.
I have no plans for any Cabbage Patch doll patterns.
