I've been playing around with felting bags, AGAIN.

I have a few ideas that are just bouncing around in side my head. Here's one that I'm pretty happy with. It is a small bag with a weighted flap. The weight is to make the flap stay in place. I'm working on writing the instructions. Once I have them proofed I'll post them here. I think you Dear Reader are going to like this one.

Very cute!

Thank you for sharing this pattern. It's lovely. I just spun some bulky yarn that would be perfect for this pattern. Thanks again.

I love the bag. I'm a purse maker, its my favorite item to make. I like the front strap. Nice colors too, do you dye your own yarn?

Great pattern!

I am definitely going to try this one!

This is my first visit to your blog...great bag! I did something similar a few years back, but without the snappy button and flap. That is such a good idea! I am forever dumping the contents of my flap-free bag.

Great bag, love all the flap variations. Thanks for sharing!

I was wondering if I could make some of these bags to sell at a charity sale? The sale is to benefit a prison ministry. Please e-mail me! Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing your patterns. I am making a bag similar to your popcorn bag and have used your excellent Icord bind off. What a lovely edging. Haven't quite got up to felting yet so am looking forward to seeing how it goes. Many thanks also for your felting tips - a great website with lots of inspiration

I just found your blog and I love it. I can't wait to try the I-cord bind-off....not sure I quite understand it but maybe doing it will make it clearer.

I'm going through your older posts and just wondered if you ever printed directions for the fabulous "Little Flapped Bag" with the really neat weighted tab.

Keep up the great work...I just knit so I'd like to see more of that. Thanks.

Yes the instructions link is on the right side bar. Little Flapped Bag.
