Today I baked cookies. Dog cookies.

Teddy, the Pomeranian, gives them a two paws up rating.

Dog Cookies
Yield: 2 dozen

2 cups wheat germ
3 (2.5 ounce) jars strained chicken baby food
1 tablespoon water or chicken broth

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or grease well.

In a medium bowl, mix the wheat germ, baby food, and water together. Add more water if necessary to form a dough.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork dipped in water.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven.

Store in the refrigerator or freeze.

i decided to make your dog cookies opver christmas. i am not a baker of any kind and your recipe sounded like the simpliest to put together and make. boy oh boy .. it was!!! however, i have got to say that both my huge rottweiler and my teeny papillion LOVE getting these treats of yours. today i bought more ingredients to make another batch. bark, woof and thank you (that covers us all! lol)
