V STITCH CELL PHONE POUCH (C)


MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn approximately 1/2 ounce
I Hook
Yarn needle
Carabiner


This pouch fits many sizes of phones. Mine has an extended battery and measures:
5.5” circumference X 3.5” high, excluding antenna.

NOTES:
1. Read instructions all the way through before beginning.
2. When joining with a slip stitch, pull the slip stitch tight.
3. Double crochet V stitch = dc, ch 1, dc



INSTRUCTIONS:
Ch 8

ROUND 1: Make 2 sc in 2nd chain from hook, sc in each chain (5) to last chain, working over yarn tail for remainder of this round, 3 sc in last ch, working in opposite side of starting chain, sc in each of 6 chain stitches. Join with a slip stitch in first sc. Remember to pull the slip stitch tight. [16 sc]


ROUND 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc of round 1, sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in center st of 3 sc group, sc in 7 sts. Join with a slip stitch in first sc. [18 sc]

ROUND 3: Ch 4, 1 dc in join. *Skip 2 sc, dc, ch 1, dc next sc, repeat from * around. Join with slip stitch in third chain of ch 4. (6 V sts)

ROUND 4-7: Slip stitch into ch 1 space. Ch 4, 1 dc in same space. *Dc, ch 1, dc next space, repeat from * around. Join with slip stitch in third chain of ch 4. (6 V sts)

ROUND 8: Ch 1, sc in join, sc in ch 1 space, *sc in next 2 dc, sc in ch 1 space, repeat from * around. ending with sc in dc.

Fasten off and weave in end.

Attach to a belt loop with a carabineer, passed through a chain 1 loop formed by a V Stitch.

Ch 8

ROUNDS 3-13: Sc in each sc around. [18 sc]

ROUND 14: Insert cell phone into pouch. The 14th round should come nearly to the top of the phone. Mark the st at one side. Remove the phone and sc to the marked st. Ch 1 and skip 1 sc, sc around remaining sts.

ROUND 15:
Sc in each st around. [18 sc]

Fasten off and weave in end.

Attach to a belt loop with a carabineer, passed through the loop formed by the chain and skipped stitch.

JULY BEADED WATER BOTTLE HOLDER (C)



































MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight yarn of your choice, approximately 1.5 ounces
45 Pony Beads
Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle

NOTES:

1. Read instructions all the way through before beginning.
2. When joining with a slip stitch, pull the slip stitch tight.
3. To make this holder with a wider longer strap, work through round 21 and then work strap from the V st Water Bottle Holder or the Basic Water Bottle Holder.
4. Holds a 20 ounce bottle


INSTRUCTIONS:

Before beginning string 45 pony beads on yarn of your choice.

Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 1st ch. Join with slip stitch in first sc. Pull slip stitch tight, until it almost disappears. (6 sc)

Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each stitch around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (12 sc)

Round 3: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc) around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (18 sc)

Round 4: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc) around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (24 sc)

Round 5: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc) around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (30 sc)

Round 6: Ch 1, sc in each sc around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (30 sc)

Round 7: Ch 2 (don’t count as hdc), hdc in same stitch as join and each stitch around. Join with slip stitch in first hdc. (30 hdc)

Round 8: Ch 2, hdc in same stitch as join and each stitch around. Join with slip stitch in first hdc. (30 hdc)

Round 9 (bead round): Ch 2, hdc in same stitch as join, move up one bead to the hook, ch 1, skip next hdc, *hdc in next hdc, move up one bead to hook, ch 1, skip next hdc* repeat around Join with slip stitch in first hdc. Remember to pull slip stitch tight. (15 beads)

Round 10: Ch 2, hdc in same stitch as join, hdc in ch 1 over each bead and in each hdc around, skip ch 2 and join in first hdc. (30 hdc)

Rounds 11-12: Ch 2, hdc in same stitch as join. Hdc in each hdc around. Join with slip stitch in first hdc. (30hdc)

Repeat rounds 9-12 twice (rnds 13-20)

Round 21: Ch 1, sc in same stitch as join and each hdc around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (30 sc)

Round 22: Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 3, (skip 1 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3) around, ending with slip stitch in the same stitch as first sc. (15 loops)

Fasten off weave in ends.

DRAW STRING: (make 2)
Ch 85, (for longer handles makes a longer chain) slip stitch in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch back to beginning. Fasten off

Weave drawstring through spaces made by round 22. Tie ends of this drawstring together with an overhand knot.

Weave second drawstring through spaces starting on opposite side. Tie ends of that drawstring together with an overhand knot.

2. I find working the holder wrong side out until I start the strap works easiest for me.
3. When joining with a slip stitch, pull the slip stitch tight.
4. Double crochet V stitch = dc, ch 1, dc
5. The length of the strap may seem short to you, but once the bottle full of water is in it’s going to stretch A LOT. You can make it longer or shorter if desired.
6. Holds a 20 ounce bottle.

INSTRUCTIONS:


Round 1:
Ch 2, 6 sc in 1st ch. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (6 sc)

Round 2:
Ch 1, 2 sc in ea st around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (12 sc)

Round 3:
Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc) around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (18 sc)

Round 4:
Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc) around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (24 sc)

Round 5:
Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc) around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (30 sc)

Round 6:
Sc in each st. Join with a slip stitch in first sc (30 sc)

Round 7:
Ch 4, 1 dc in join. *Skip 2 sc, dc, ch 1, dc next sc, repeat from * around. Join with slip stitch in third chain of ch 4. (10 V sts)

Round 8-17:
Slip stitch into ch 1 space. Ch 4, 1 dc in same space. *Dc, ch 1, dc next space, repeat from * around. Join with slip stitch in third chain of ch 4. (10 V sts)

STRAP:


Row 1:
Ch 1, sc in join, sc in ch 1 space, sc in next 2 dc, sc in ch 1 space, sc in dc. Ch 1, turn. (6 sc)

Row 2-50:
Sc in each st. Ch 1, turn. (6 sc)


Fasten off.

Repeat on opposite side of holder. Skip 3 V stitches, join with a slip st in first dc of 4th V st.

Row 1:
Ch 1, sc in join, sc in ch 1 space, sc in next 2 dc, sc in ch 1 space, sc in dc. Ch 1, turn. (6 sc)

Row 2-50:
Sc in each st. Ch 1, turn. (6 sc)


DO NOT
fasten off. Join the ends of the two straps by placing them wrong sides together and working a sc through both layers in each sc.


Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Ch 2, dc in join and each st around. Join with slip stitch in first c. (30 dc)

Round 18:
Ch 1, 1 sc in each st around. Join with slip stitch in first sc. (30 sc)


STRAP:
Row 1:
Ch 1, sc in join, sc in next 4 sts. Ch 1, turn. (5 sc)

Row 2-100:
Sc in next 5 sts. Ch 1, turn. (5 sc)

FINISHING:

Join the working end of the strap to the opposite side of the holder. Do this by skipping 10 sts and holding the right side of the strap against the right side of the holder work a slip stitch though the strap and the holder in each of the next 5 sc.

Fasten off weave in ends.
