MY SHAMROCK GARLAND (C)

People have mentioned making garland out of My Shamrock Pin. This is how I did just that. Certainly not the only way, but sure an easy way.

Length: 9 shamrocks = 45 inches

Materials:

Crochet hook size I (5.5 mm)
Small amount green (or color of your choice) worsted weight yarn
Shamrock:
Chain 4, join with a slip stitch in first chain to form a ring.

Petal (make 3): Chain 3, trc, dc, trc, ch 3, slip stitch in ring.

Stem: Chain 4, slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook, and remaining two chains. Fasten off.

Weave in ends.

To join into garland:

Ch 10, slipstitch in first chain, to make a loop.

Ch 10, slipstitch in the top of the chain 3, on the left side of the center shamrock petal.

*Ch 15, slipstitch in the top of the chain 3, on the left side of the center shamrock leaf. Repeat from * until about 4 inches shorter than desired length.

Ch 20, slipstitch in the 10th ch from hook, to form a ring.

Hang from rings.
