That is so beautiful! Makes me wish I had a little one to make it for. I love it.
ReplyDeleteoh hooray! one to fit my niece! She's rather large for her age, and I missed the window of opportunity for your other jerkin designs.
ReplyDeletethank you!! thank you!

Let me know how it fits and how old she is when you get it made. Would love to see a photo. You can always contact me at suzettaw98226@yahoo.com
ReplyDeletegreat!
ReplyDeleteI'll try not to miss my window this time!! :)

Ah! I love this! I'm going to make it for a friend's baby!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my blog http://saraforsoker.blogspot.se/
Best,
Sara
I love this pattern but need to make a size 8; can you give me any advice about enlarging it? Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteAccording to size charts an 8 is about 27 inches. That's too much larger than this one for me to wrap my mind around it.
ReplyDeleteI have made this pattern in the small size and it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am trying the pattern in large and seem to be stuck on row 27.
There are 80 stitches left from 136 stitches.
When I count in the round there are only 57 stitches.
It says Kl, *P2, K2. 4 times. That is 16, right?
There seems to be 57 stitches to work on. What do I do with the other 23 stitches?
Thank you for your help.
Here's how it adds up to 80 stitches. 1+16+2+40+2+16+2+1=80
ReplyDeleteWhat is the size for this? I don't see it any where in the pattern. I would love to make it in a child's 6 - can anyone help? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt's cute and would like to try it, but I think I must be overlooking something. What size is this? What age of a baby is it for?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Carol
This pattern is for a toddler not a size 6.
ReplyDeleteSince children come in differing sizes only chest measurement is stated. You will need to compare that to the measurement of the child to know if it will fit.
ReplyDeleteI SEE IT'S FOR A TODDLER AND IS MARKED SIZE LARGE,DID YOU WRITE A PATTERN FOR A BABY 6 MONTHS TO A YEAR. DO YOU HAVE A PATTERN FOR SIZE SM OR MED? I'M FAIRLY NEW AT KNITTING AND AS YOU CAN SEE NOT THE BEST AT THE COMPUTER.I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU. THANK YOU A HAVE A NICE DAY.
ReplyDeleteThere are three Jerkin patterns. They are all under the Kid's Stuff heading. The measurements for each is listed in the pattern. You will need to compare those measurements to the child to know what size to knit.
ReplyDeleteCan I knit this on straight needles? If so how?
ReplyDeleteNo it is written for knitting in the round.
