Worsted weight yarn approximately 1.5 to 2 ounces
US size 9 (5.5 mm) 16 inch circular knitting needle
US size 9 (5.5 mm) double point needles
Marker
Cable needle or one of the above double point needles
Tapestry needle for yarn
Size 10 yellow crochet thread about 9 (10.5, 12) yards
US size 7 (1.5 mm) crochet hook
12 (14, 16) size 3 mm black pom-poms
Tapestry needle for size 10 thread
Black thread and needle
Aleene’s Ok to Wash It fabric glue (optional)
GAUGE:
Approximately 17 sts = 4 inches

SPECIAL STITCHES:
C4B: Slip next 2 sts purl wise to cable needle (or double point needle) and
hold to back of work, K2, K2 from cable
needle.
C4F: Slip next 2 sts purl wise to cable needle (or
double point needle) and hold to front of work, K2, K2
from cable needle.
C2B: Slip next st purl wise to cable needle (or double point needle) and hold
to back of work, K1, K1 from cable needle.
C2F: Slip next st purl wise to cable needle (or double
point needle) and hold to front of work, K1, K1 from cable needle.
M1 = Make 1: Pick up the bar between stitch just worked

Fasten off leaving about a 6 inch tail for

Sew eyes in place.
